MASERU
Maseru is the capital city of Lesotho, situated on the western border of the country along the Caledon River, marking the boundary with South Africa; it is the largest urban center in Lesotho. Maseru’s 2024 population is now estimated at 469,431. In 1986, the population of Maseru was 98,017.
HEALTHCARE INSIGHTS
- In June 2024, the Maseru District Hospital and Eye Clinic opened its doors to the public.
- The Queen ‘Mamohato Hospital, with its three filter clinics, is bringing modern healthcare to half a million people in the Maseru district.
