MAPUTO
Maputo, the capital and largest city of Mozambique, is a vibrant urban center located near the southern tip of the country, approximately 120 kilometers from the borders of Eswatini and South Africa. As of 2025, the Maputo metropolitan area, which includes the neighboring city of Matola, boasts a population of approximately 1,230,000 residents, reflecting a 3.1% increase from the previous year.
