Assam start up policy-2017

  • To provide the funding required to enable startups in Assam.
  • The ideal company structure for formation is either a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), Private Limited Company, or a Partnership Firm. The company should be a new establishment or an existing one with a maximum age of 7 years. Additionally, the annual turnover of the company must not surpass Rs. 25 crores.
  • Under the stipulations outlined in the Startup Assam policy, the State Government is set to extend a subsidy of up to 50% (with a maximum cap of 1 lakh) for a period of 5 years. However, certain conditions must be met for eligibility:

 

a)The startup is required to possess a valid electricity bill in the name of the startup or one of its directors.

b)Only electricity bills generated after the official release of the Startup Assam policy will be considered for reimbursement. Bills older than 12 months will not qualify.

c)The startup must furnish proof of payment for the respective electricity bills to avail the subsidy.
