TEYATEYANENG
Teyateyaneng, often abbreviated as TY, is a prominent town in northwestern Lesotho, serving as the administrative capital of the Berea District. Situated approximately 40 kilometers northeast of Maseru, the national capital, Teyateyaneng lies along the main north-south highway, making it a strategic link between various parts of the country. As of the 2016 census, Teyateyaneng had a population of 26,043 residents. The demographic distribution is fairly balanced, with females comprising approximately 51.8% and males 48.2% of the population. The median age of residents is 23.2 years, indicating a youthful populace.
