Kisumu officially known as Kisumu City, is the Kenyan inland port city on Lake Victoria and the capital city of Kisumu County, Kenya.
It is the third largest city in Kenya after the capital, Nairobi, and the coastal city of Mombasa. The population of the county in the year 2024 is estimated to be 407,000 with a growth rate of 3.83%.The county exhibits a population density of approximately 550 persons per square kilometre.
