The population of Madhya Pradesh for the year 2023 is 8,50,02,417and is estimated to project 92,827,450  by the year 2030 with annual growth rate of 1.31%.

  • In the state, the total number of available beds, including both government and private sectors, is 64,939. According to the norms, there should be 5 beds per 1,000 population.   • Currently there are 545 diagnostic centres in Madhya Pradesh. As per the norms there should be 1 diagnostic centre per 10,000 population. Therefore, there is a requirement of 8,500 diagnostic centre indicating a gap of 7,955 diagnostic centre in the Madhya Pradesh.
  • Government assistance in healthcare facility establishment:

In line with the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy and Implementation Scheme introduced in 2022, the government offers valuable financial assistance to startups in the state. This assistance is targeted at startups that have received funds or investments from financial institutions recognized by SEBI (Security and Exchange Board of India) or RBI (Reserve Bank of India).

b)Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: The government encourages women-led startups by offering an additional 20% assistance. This boost aims to support and promote female entrepreneurship in the state.

c)Lease Rental Assistance: Startups can benefit from lease rental assistance amounting to 50% of the monthly rent paid for the workspace taken on lease, up to a maximum of Rs. 5000/- per month, for a duration of three years. This provision lightens the financial burden of rental expenses and helps startups establish their operations more effectively.
